Nigeria has over 930 thousand hectares of arable land spread across 36 federating states. Each state has areas of comparative agricultural advantage in terms of agricultural commodities which could not only be produced, but also processed and packaged for sale and consumption. During the exhibition, each state would showcase areas of Investment needs ranging from Industrial Partnerships to Private Public. Some are looking for Manufacturers to establish Machinery for Assembly, Processing, and Packaging. Yet, others need to procure equipment and inputs which are extended to farmers for growth enhancement benefits.
With various state Chief Executives and high ranking officers in attendance at AGRIKEXPO, manufacturers may well use the opportunity to showcase and acquaint with a premium audience of decision makers.
On broader basis, the Minister of Agriculture have emphasized repeatedly about Governments focus on Agriculture via a strategy of inclusive participation by all states, for an integrated approach in pursuit of the Agricultural transformation program.
For the first time, exhibition booths would be delivered to match international standards of delivery on exhibitions.
