AGRIKEXPO 2017, the 6th edition, of what has become one of Africa's biggest events for Agribusiness development and Conferences, has continued to rise in profile with a burgeoning number of exhibitors and visitors from all over Africa and the world. According to Minister of Agriculture & Rural Development, Prof. Audu Ogbeh,
Nigeria will do better with new technology, tractors, harvesters, processing & packaging machinery, irrigation technology, Inputs, etc, for commercial scale agricultural productivity. Over 2000 tractors are needed in 2016 for Cultivation at various levels.
On an annual basis more than US$10 billion in committed to Agriculture/food processing-packaging related businesses and by statistics, growths rates in excess of 7% are expected over the next 4-5years. Various conferences ,held in collaboration with different Agribusiness trade Associations would hold concurrently during the event with high end Speakers and attendees drawn from both the private and public sectors.
